Home is where the garden is

Home and garden decor add aesthetic value to any house. Predominantly, most people follow home decor since it is a routine practice. Very few people attach importance to garden decor and stick to basic gardening. For instance, they end up planting ornamental trees and flowering plants. They do not attach much importance to garden decor.

However, both home and garden decor should be practiced. In home decor, the interiors of living room, dining room, bed room, kid’s room, kitchen and bathroom assume importance. All these rooms should have home decor products and accessories like furnishings, sofa set, tables, cabinets, floor mats, window furnishings, window blinds, dining tables, cutlery sets, cots and mattress, study table, kitchen accessories and bath accessories.

The living room should be accorded utmost importance since guests and visitors stay in this room. There should be adequate natural lighting and the room should always be maintained bright and colorful. Avoid heavy and dark colored window textiles and furnishing. This will enable easy light penetration. Also ensure, adequate movement space in the living room. Do not make staying in a living room a claustrophobic experience.

Garden decor is easy to practice. Ensure that the following accessories are placed in the garden: address plaques, arbors, bird baths, bird feeders, mail boxes, fountains, planters and lamps.
